- Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of system modifications and upgrades by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and outlined marketing strategies.
- Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicate effectively to educate the customer about State Systems capabilities.
- Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan.
- Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure our team meets or exceeds the expectations of a long-term partner.
- Support other internal teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory.
- Meet the key objectives of the annual commission planqualifications.
- Three to five years' experience in the fire protection industry.
- Ability to establish and maintain viable local and distance relationships with end users and remodel contractors.
- Strong prospecting drive.
- Proven ability to close work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background, and reference check.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Willingness to learn & utilize personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows Office Excel and Word programs.
