New Job Opportunity - Business Analyst/Data Task Lead:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Andrews AFB (JBA).
Looking to hire a Business Analyst/Data Task Lead with at least 4+ years of related professional experience with heavy data analytics
- Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Gap Analysis & business cause analysis
- Prior experience supporting the Air Force is highly desired
- Secret security Clearance is required

Logistics of the Role:

Full Time - Direct Hire - Our client is looking to pay within a range of 110k-125k
Andrews AFB (Just outside of Washington D.C.)

Day to Day Activities:

Gather intelligence from corporate executives and middle managers about needs and future growth
Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes
Analyze data and system information across large IT portfolios to support gap analysis
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders, including manufacturing teams, to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements, process improvements, and new initiatives
System Design: Develop detailed system design specifications and functional requirements that align with business needs and objectives, with a focus on manufacturing applications and technologies
Data Analysis: Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for data-driven decision-making
Testing and Quality Assurance /QA Process: Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements and are free from defects
Change Management: Assist in planning and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes within the manufacturing domain

Qualifications:

Secret Security Clearance is required
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Business, or a related degree is preferred.
Familiarity with Qlik, PowerBI, and/or Tableau.
Familiarity with gap analysis and business cause analysis
Experience serving the Air Force/ served
Strong work ethic, self-starter, and internally driven.
