The Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) is a recognized umbrella organization for social welfare. As a subsidiary, AWO Sozial gGmbH specializes in the care of older and dependent people. In addition to 14 residential care facilities, it also operates outpatient services and day care in Württemberg.

For our modern senior center Fasanenhof in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, we are looking for a full-time and temporary Kitchen Manager with the option of permanent employment, to start immediately or at the earliest possible date.

The management team at the facility will actively support you during the training period. You will also receive intensive practical support from our team and quality officers for all practical questions.

Job Description:

Providing ageappropriate and healthconscious meals for residents
Planning and organizing the kitchen operations, meal service in the dining room, and handover to the care team
Calculating food requirements and monitoring the ordering process
Ordering food, costeffective and environmentally conscious purchasing
Carrying out and organizing all administrative tasks, identifying potential for improvement and developing necessary measures
Ensuring the quality and quantity of the service offered in the facility in the area of food supply
Actively participating in the quality management system and implementing it in your own area
Supporting the housekeeping management in planning projects for the food supply area
Cooperating with employees, residents, resident council, and various departments
