    We provide the absolute best roof replacement and repair services to homeowners in the Triangle area, and are building a team of individuals who are passionate about the customer experience.


    About the Role:
    We're searching for an accounting manager to own our bookkeeping processes and oversee the end-to-end management of our financials.

    This includes typical accounting functions like reconciliations, posting journal entries, and preparing financial statements but also working with the team to invoice and accept payments from customers.

    Here are some of the major parts of the role:

    Manage accounting processes including reconciliations

    Monthly close-out process and financial statement preparation

    Job costing projects

    Preparing sales reports and recording commissions

    Paying vendor bills, subcontractors, and employees


    Our team includes a bookkeeper who will continue to work with the accounting manager on many of the customer-facing responsibilities.


    Potential advancement includes managing a larger accounting team and shaping the internal financial and operational processes as we continue to expand.


    Qualifications:

    Experience and knowledge in accounting:

    A degree is not required but at least 5 years of direct accounting work would set a potential candidate up for success.

    This would include work as a CPA, bookkeeper, or in accounting.


    Highly capable with technology including QuickBooks: Having experience in QuickBooks and Excel will be extremely beneficial and the ability to quickly learn to use Gusto, Ramp, ClickUp, and our roofing CRM software is a must.

    Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    A drive to improve processes and efficiency of the accounting systems
