- Working front on the phones, ensuring prompt and courteous response to all customers and vendor inquiries.
- Managing receivables for all customers by processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.
- Opening all mail, reconciling invoices, creating deposits and work in QuickBooks to accept payments – daily
- Leading the company in responsiveness and friendliness by making weekly routine calls to current customers regarding their account and payments, especially when delayed or past due.
- Continually work with each account to achieve the least cycle time in receiving payments over the life of each customer.
- Work with sales & customer service to ensure all customers who use credit cards to pay have an authorization form on file.
- Record all credit card and check deposits.
- Make collection calls as needed and without delay.
- Keep all accounts no older than days and track the data weekly.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Kind and courteous when faced with delinquent customer or slow payer
- Firm and candid communication with all team members and customers
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other software applications used in the office: QuickBooks, CRO, PayTrace, etc.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist has the principal responsibility to provide financial, administrative & clerical support.
Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying billables and posting receipts.
