    Billing Specialist

    Key Responsibilities of the Medicare Billing Specialist include:

    • Entering insurance and responsible party information accurately
    • Reviewing daily census information
    • Processing private pay statements and claims efficiently
    • Following up on outstanding statements and claims
    • Assisting with long-term care insurance processes
    • Handling Medicaid and Elderly Waiver applications
    • Ensuring accuracy of resident statements
    • Utilizing insurance carrier portals effectively
    • Collecting delinquent accounts and balancing cash receipts

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Experience in long-term care and healthcare billing
    • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS Coding
    • Exceptional Customer Service skills
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency in medical terminology
    • Effective communication skills
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
