    Description
    Dodge & Cox is seeking an experienced Payroll Associate to join the Human Capital team. The Associate will take an ownership role with processing the bi-weekly US payroll and monthly global payrolls.

    The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the full payroll processing cycle and payroll concepts, and have a high level of integrity and ethics.

    This position will have the potential to learn and grow in a range of payroll and benefit responsibilities, and will report to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.

    Process bi-weekly payroll for non-exempt employees located in the U.Process global payroll for UK, China and Germany using international vendors and consultants
    Complete California Fair Pay reporting for contractors
    Prepare payroll and audit reports as needed
    Assist with State Disability Insurance administration
    Dodge & Cox targets candidates with high levels of academic and professional achievement, and leadership ability.
    excellent academic record
    Have 5+ years payroll experience; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
    Have experience with payroll software systems, Workday experience is a plus
    Be proficient with Microsoft Excel
    Understand multi-state payroll tax withholding
    Be proficient at data analysis and leveraging automation
    Exhibit interest and/or have experience in the investment management industry

    Dodge & Cox has a 3/2 hybrid work model, and all Dodge & Cox employees are required to be in their assigned office as noted in the job posting Tuesday - Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely on Monday and Friday.
