Scientific Director Practice & Transfer
As the scientific director of the Practice & Transfer division, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the division

This includes:

Strategic responsibility for the direction and further development of the central activities in the three areas of dual studies, academic continuing education, and entrepreneurship in teaching, in coordination with the operational division management of the division
Services for companies, universities, chambers, and other stakeholders, such as creating guidelines, recommendations, or contract templates, as well as supporting corresponding offers from Bavarian universities of applied sciences and technical universities
Representation of the division in the context of universities, business, ministries, as well as with other partners and multipliers
Advocacy for the division in committees, working groups, and associations in the three areas, including participation in the German Association for Dual Higher Education (DHSD e.

V.).

Profile

As the scientific director, you have relevant experience as a professor at a Bavarian university of applied sciences or technical university.

You will be appointed by the general assembly of Bavarian universities of applied sciences and technical universities for a term until the end of the winter semester 2025/2026, based on a proposal from the steering committee.

After that, reappointment for two terms of four years each is possible. You will carry out your duties with a reduction of nine teaching hours per semester. The headquarters of BayZiel is located in Munich.
