    Litigation Support Specialist at Contact Government Services (CGS)

    Are you looking to join a team that thrives on solving complex problems for the government? Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Litigation Support Specialist to provide top-notch secretarial and legal support to a team of attorneys.

    As a Litigation Support Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in assisting attorneys throughout all stages of cases, from initiation to post-trial.


    Skills and attributes for success:
    • Handles scheduling, travel arrangements, court appearances, and more
    • Types and composes various legal documents and correspondence with precision
    • Coordinates multi-document filings in Federal, Circuit, and State courts
    • Assists with trial preparation, document reviews, and discovery processes
    • Maintains filing and records, conducts analytical tasks, and performs cite checking
    • Collaborates effectively with team members, opposing counsel, and courtroom staff

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of experience as a legal secretary in business law practice
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and e-filing technologies
    • Exceptional computer skills and quick adaptability to new software applications

    Ideally, you will also have:
    • Deep understanding of litigation laws and court document filings
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to maintain high standards, use good judgment, and anticipate needs
