    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a

    Senior Financial Analyst, Sales Finance , to support our Club/Mass/Value businesses. Position to be in Stamford, CT and report to the Senior Finance Manager, Sales Finance
    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


    • Participate in the customer strategy development process and ensure tactics available to execute the commercial plan per the overall company strategy.
    • Execute the forecast and plan for volume, revenue, trade spend & customer contribution to ensure alignment with monthly business planning and current forecast.
    • Support creation of quality financial reporting, providing insights to drivers of variances (including potential R&O's) vs plan and prior year.
    • Effectively communicate financial results, providing actionable analytics to sales and management
    • Analyze trade spend investments and ensure processes are in place to review customer performance.
    • Perform financial assessments of plan gap closing opportunities and review findings with sales team.
    • Provide financial guidance in customer negotiations (pricing, customer deductions, allowances, promotional frequency).
    • Collaborate with Sales, Field Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Category Development to create plans, provide decision support, analyze variances and deliver on financial goals.
    • Custodian of internal controls and assurance that trade spend practices comply with internal and external guidelines.

    Qualifications

    Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required.
    Minimum 2 year's prior experience in finance, accounting or economics specific roles; Sales Finance support/co-piloting experience within CPG industry preferred
    Proficiency with financial planning/forecasting and trade spend management tools.
    Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel
    Strong analytical, intuitive and problem-solving skills with a curious nature; capable of multi-tasking
    Working knowledge of SAP ERP systems and PowerBI
    Ability to build relationships, embrace change and manage the business with an owner's mindset.
