    Description

    Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors is currently looking for candidates to join their Investigative/Legal Researcher team in the in-house Investigative Unit. If you are a research enthusiast with a knack for delving into details and supporting high-profile cases, this might be the right fit for you.

    The unit plays a key role in providing the firm with top-notch research, analysis, and investigative support. We are in search of individuals with a background in legal research, whether from law firms, investigative agencies, or the realm of news media. Ideal candidates should have excellent research and writing skills and a genuine interest in uncovering facts. A competitive salary awaits, tailored to your experience.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough investigations on individuals, firms, and organizations by sourcing information from various channels.
    • Carry out and analyze factual research through interviews, investigations, and observations.
    • Spotlight factual witnesses and key figures, conduct research, and craft background memoranda and event timelines.
    • Support attorneys and consultants in trial preparation.
    • Oversee comprehensive investigations.
    • Utilize a variety of resources for in-depth research, including databases, legal platforms, and public records.

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, Political Science, or a related field.
    • Prior experience as an Investigative Reporter or Legal Researcher will be advantageous.
    • Demonstrated experience in conducting research and investigations using industry best practices and meticulous fact-checking methods.
    • Exceptional interpersonal abilities, strong active listening skills, and a keen eye for detail.
    • Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and cases simultaneously.
    • Ability to deliver work of utmost accuracy under pressure to meet objectives.
    • Adhere to the highest standards of privacy, personal integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Possess strong investigative, research, and writing capabilities.
