    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Law to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex construction law matters, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and litigation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of construction law.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction contracts, including agreements with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Advise clients on compliance with construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Handle construction-related disputes, including claims for breach of contract, construction defects, delay claims, and payment disputes.
    • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings related to construction disputes.
    • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on construction law issues and provide strategic guidance to clients and colleagues.
    • Collaborate closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law with a focus on construction law.
    • Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and industry practices.
    • Proven ability to handle complex construction disputes effectively and efficiently.
    • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate persuasively on behalf of clients.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience representing clients in construction-related litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
    • Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used in the legal profession.
    • Additional certifications or training in construction law or related fields.
