Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Cytotechnologist to support our client's medical facility in Elmhurst, Illinois. This is a permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

Interpretation of abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration cases.
Responsible for identifying diagnostic material and referring cases to the pathologists appropriately.
Serve as a member of the Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) team providing on-site adequacy evaluation of FNA procedures.
Must maintain records of screening slide counts and other activities.
Maintain Quality Control records where indicated.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences & completing a 12-month CAAHEP-accredited Cytotechnology program.
Must be CT (ASCP) certified.
Recent Hospital-based experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $32.00 to 47.00/h
