- Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results.
- Adhere to quality control and quality assurance standards to ensure the reliability of test results.
- Stay abreast of advancements in cytology and participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
- Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
- Florida State license in Medical Lab Science
- Previous experience as a Cytotechnologist is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
