**Position Overview**

**Job Summary**

Reporting up through the Demand Management area of Supply Chain:

This position regular reconciles the actual and forecasted inventory and help identify gaps in resolution to optimizing the inventory for Hubbell Light Industrial.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**

Use the IBP Inventory Optimization software to audit and drive accurate inventory levels

Work with the demand planning group to ensure the forecast is driving reliable and appropriate inventory

Perform a monthly audit on safety stocks, re-order points, and min lot sizes

Work with marketing and the manufacturing facilities to assess obsolete and excess inventory

Work with finance to audit and transact out obsolete inventory

Consistently provide feedback and analytics suggesting how to optimize our inventory

Review and manage master data elements that drive the supply chain (Min/Max, Lead Times, Safety Stocks, etc.)

Develop reporting to optimize supply chain performance for Hubbell and reduce backlog constraints

Weekly backlog/production performance review

Weekly inventory to backlog analysis and communicating to the appropriate groups for action

Coordinate material availability via plant-to-plant transfers to alleviate raw material constraints

Monthly analysis of storage location inventory levels to provide guidance on optimization opportunities

Transfer current safety stock models to unified Hubbell IBP system for standardization

Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Experience**

**Required Skills and Experience**

4-year degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent

Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external business partners

Analytical thinking the ability to analyze and use critical thinking skills on a regular basis

Creative thinking the ability to think outside the box, coming up with new solutions to old problems

Presentation skills while most of the work will be on analyzing data & applying statistical models, clear and concise communication of information to peers & management is key

Interpersonal skills interacting with others is an integral part of formulating the forecast

Strong computer skills required:

MS Office, especially Excel (intermediate level) & Teams

Power BI or other Reporting software

PowerPoint

Some travel (up to 20%) may be required

**Preferred Qualifications**

SAP experience (SD/PP/MM) preferred

SAP IBP experience preferred

Familiarity with statistics, applied math and statistical software
