Job Summary

The Processing Technician role involves carrying out daily tasks within the processing department efficiently to meet weekly objectives. The position encompasses operating, producing, and maintaining processing machinery, as well as packaging concentrates and edible units accurately. The Processing Technician should work with high productivity and precision while upholding professionalism and safety standards. Reporting to the Processing Technician Lead and Supervisor, this role supports guiding department members towards effective goal achievement.

Essential Duties

Duties and responsibilities include:

Preparing primary and secondary packaging of concentrate and edible products efficiently
Organizing, labeling, and weighing packaged items accurately
Performing troubleshooting and maintenance on processing machinery
Collaborating with team members to ensure proper data logging and labeling
Guiding associates in packaging tasks and supporting Processing leadership
Facilitating the transport of products between departments
Adapting techniques based on variables and maintaining a clean work environment
Achieving daily quotas and contributing to company objectives
Maintaining professionalism and assisting other departments as needed

Compliance and Reporting

Adhering to state and federal regulations
Logging required information daily
Organizing and securing packaging materials
Reporting any compliance issues
Ensuring compliance and safety procedures are followed

Working Conditions

Operating computers and hand tools while standing or sitting
Moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Using proper PPE and handling cleaning equipment
Working in humid conditions during machinery maintenance

Job Qualifications

Work Experience:

Three months experience in a Processing Technician role required
Two years of related work experience preferred
Experience in a fast-paced production environment desirable
Consistent productivity and attention to detail expected
Professional communication skills and cannabis manufacturing knowledge a plus

Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Moving equipment and wearing protective gear as needed
High school diploma or GED required, must be at least 21 years old
