    About Us:

    Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns.

    Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually.

    Our clinicians are skilled in the most advanced procedures and technology, and provide personalized patient care in a warm and caring environment.


    Statement of Purpose:

    Working as a part of a team, the position involves different assignments in all aspects in the processing of a full range of surgical instrumentation.#

    Assembles properly inspected, processed surgical instruments, carts, and equipment according to kit lists to meet the demands of quality patient care.

    ##Restocking of the#specialty carts for use by various departments of the hospital.

    Qualifications:
    # Education:

    High School diploma or equivalent.##Successful completion of a Sterile Processing#certificate course.

    ## # Certification / License:

    # Certification by a Sterile Processing#Association.#Maintain re-certification with 12 education credits annually.

    #

    MRMC Differentials:

    Hospital differentials are:
    $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.# All differentials are paid based per hospital policy. # # #
