    Description

    Our client in Spartanburg, SC is looking for a sales account manager to join their growing team

    Pay: $75K-100K + uncapped commission

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Building customer partnerships and growing existing business by understanding customer needs and the strengths and capabilities of our company.
    • Develop and manage a sales territory and create a business plan based on our company's strategic goals as well as uncover and close new business opportunities.
    • Prospect for new business and identify new opportunities.
    • Conduct sales calls and actively grow the size of your territory.
    • Work closely with Purchasing, and operations to ensure proper inventory levels to meet customer expectations.
    • Maintain weekly CRM standards to establish, track and close new business opportunities for long term growth.
    • Achieve profitable revenue growth, including new business, while maintaining existing sales.
    • Achieve gross margin targets by employing a consultative sales approach that focuses on building a long-term, value-based relationship with accounts.

    Requirements:

    • Live in South Carolina
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years of sales experience in chemical distribution sales is a MUST
    • Solid business sense with a basic understanding of the relationship between producers, distributors and end-user customers and the limitations that exist therein.
