    We're looking for an Engineering

    Manager

    to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals.


    As the Engineering Manager/Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding all engineering design efforts within our organization.

    Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions.

    Your expertise in mechanical engineering, complemented by an understanding of electrical engineering principles, will be crucial in driving innovation and efficiency across the engineering department.

    Duties/Key Responsibilities

    Leadership:

    Inspire and lead a team of talented engineers by providing clear direction, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.


    Project Management:
    Plan, organize, and prioritize engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful completion while adhering to budgetary and quality standards.

    Engineering Support:

    In-depth and thorough knowledge of mechanical design principles and techniques, including a strong proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.


    Engineering Oversight:
    Oversee the design and development of aerospace products, systems, and components. Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Collaborate closely with other departments, such as research and development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of engineering efforts.


    Process Improvement:
    Identify areas for process improvement within the engineering team and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.

    Resource Management:
    Allocate resources effectively, including personnel and equipment, to optimize engineering output.

    Risk Management:
    Assess and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with engineering projects.

    Mentorship and Talent Development:

    Coach, mentor, and support the professional development of individual team members to foster a highly skilled and motivated engineering workforce.

    Required Skills

    and Abilities
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

    Proven track record of at least 7 years in engineering management or leadership roles within the aerospace industry or similar field.

    Solid background in mechanical engineering with in-depth knowledge of aerospace design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
    Familiarity with electrical engineering principles to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
    Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, problem-solving, and creative thinking within an engineering team.
    Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements in the aerospace industry.

    The salary range shown is inclusive of applicable allowances/stipends and reflects the minimum and maximum possible salary for new hires for the role, based on the advertised location.
