- Develop and execute effective local SEO strategies for small business websites, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content strategy.
- Conduct regular site audits, track and report on key SEO metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor and analyze site traffic and user behavior to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Create, Launch, Manage, optimize, and organize PPC campaigns for clients, primarily in Google Ads
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the message and vision of the company are being communicated properly.
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- At least 2-5 years of SEO experience, with a focus on local small businesses.
- Experience with website analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.
- Strong understanding of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with an openness to providing and receiving team feedback.
- Active team and client communications
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
- Proficiency with major digital marketing channels and social media tools (Google Ad Platform, Meta Business Suite, iContact, SocialPilot, HubSpot, etc). Paid social experience a plus.
- Proficiency with photo and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe)
- Experience with WordPress/Elementor.
- Experience with managing and optimizing business listings such as Google Business Profile and Apple Maps Business Connect.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.
- Experience in an agency setting, creating custom SEO reports, and face-to-face client reporting is a plus
