    Position: Account Manager – (Hybrid)

    Summary: Ignosh Insurance and Risk Management is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Manage the daily account management of an assigned book of business, including invoicing, premium breakdowns, policy changes, review of policy forms, providing coverage comparisons, and responding to policy questions.
    • Respond to client requests for information, documents, and general insurance inquiries.
    • Proactively quote and bind a variety of insurance products using consultative selling techniques; ensure coverage is bound correctly and in a timely manner while working with underwriting for all supporting documentation required.
    • Maintain client files in agency management system; responsible for proper documentation of files and proper communication to all parties involved.
    • Grow the assigned book of business through cross-selling, up-selling and/or referrals.
    • Completes licensing and continuing education requirements.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Current P&C License with prior Insurance experience.
    • Highly motivated, self-driven with desire to want to learn
    • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry required.
    • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required; results-driven with the ability to change priorities as needed.
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
    • Team player- ability and desire to work with all members in the office with a team first mentality.
    • Experience with various carriers and working directly with their underwriters.
    • Experience utilizing online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.
    • Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook Email required.
    • Bi-lingual is a plus
