The position will help cover shifts when there is patient influx. Duties include patient transport, stocking supplies, room setup, and helping with outpatient x-ray orders.Preps patients for procedures and provides explanation of exams and answers general questions. Assists technologists and/or physicians with diagnostic radiology procedures and related activities. Performs set up and stocking of procedure rooms.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service All other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED. No experience required. Medical Terminology, preferred. Experience in a hospital or medical environment, preferred.
