    Job Description:

    As a Member Service Representative at our client's credit union in Los Angeles, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional member service while conducting various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling wire transfers. You will be the face of the credit union, engaging with members daily and offering personalized assistance to fulfill their banking needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Member Satisfaction: Welcome members warmly and professionally, addressing their inquiries and issues with a friendly attitude.
    • Transaction Processing: Perform deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfers, and other financial transactions accurately to maintain balanced cash drawers and member accounts.
    • Product Expertise: Educate members on our credit union's products and services, recommending suitable options to align with their financial objectives.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to ensure a secure and compliant financial environment.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet branch targets and foster a positive team environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in finance or banking is advantageous.
    • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, cash handling, and credit union operations; familiarity with wire transfers is a plus.
    • Skills: Excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
    • Technology: Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with credit union software systems is beneficial.
    • Ethical Standards: Maintain high ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive member information.
