    Content Developer, Math Intervention - New York, United States - Amplify

    We are looking for an enthusiastic intervention content developer to join our team, ready to dive into new content creation, cross-functional product initiatives, and the development of our innovative educational products. The Content Developer, Math Intervention will report to an Associate Director, Math Intervention, and will work closely with product leadership and cross-functional product development teams to align, review, and author components of the intervention product.

    Responsibilities of the Content Developer, Math Intervention:
    • Design and facilitate learning experiences focused on the common core standards
    • Write and review student-facing and teacher-facing math intervention content
    • Meet regularly to collaborate on the development and revisions of resources with the cross-functional product development teams
    • Commit to creating a representative, equitable product that supports traditionally marginalized students.


    Basic Qualifications of the Content Developer, Math Intervention:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years of experience working either (1) in educational settings, with evidence of excellence in instruction at relevant age levels or (2) at a PK-12 curriculum publishing company, with a focus on elementary mathematics.
    • Understanding of the K-5 progression of common core standards


    Preferred Qualifications of the Content Developer, Math Intervention:
    • Graduate degree in early childhood education, elementary education, mathematics education, or similarly relevant subject area
    • Teaching and coaching or interventionist experience in a K-5 educational setting
    • Experience developing or implementing intervention resources
    • Experience supporting students with disabilities and English Language Learners
    • Proven experience working with students of diverse levels of preparation and backgrounds


    Compensation:

    The hourly rate for this role is $40.
