RFA Engineering

) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking a growth-oriented candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Job Description
Execute test plans for product verification and validation.
Liaise with test requesters to define and agree test format and timing.
Prepare tests or test stands in readiness for new tests.
Run activity tests in an efficient manner.
Collect test data, review data and report results.
Supports other test engineers with technical expertise and advice.
Requirements
Bachelor's in Mechanicalor Agricultural Engineering degree or equivalent.
1-3years of product development and/or testing experience.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and execute vehicle tests.
Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Ability to communicate within a cross functional team across multiple sites and drive results.
Ability to write clearly and concisely to document test procedures and communicate results.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically to support field tests, etc.
Hands on skills and aptitude with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
Experience using MS Office applications.
Experience using PTC Creo.
Preferences
Experience with product development and knowledge of the overall process (design, analysis, testing, and mfg.)
Knowledge of engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems or mechanical systems.
Ability to accurately diagnose cause and effect of issues.
Experience with digital data acquisition systems.
Experience with nCode, Labview, and Matlab.
Experience working with AgPDM, SAP and other enterprise tools such as root cause analysis.
Experience with agriculture, construction, or turf care equipment.
Demonstrated leadership and people skills.
Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

Pay Range:
$65,000-$80,000 – Commensurate with experience

RFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943. Our primary focus is the development of off highway equipment including agricultural, construction, mining, recreational, industrial, and special machines. Our work includes concept development, product design, documentation, problem-solving, simulation, optimization, and testing of components, systems and complete machines.

Our engineering staff is located at our Engineering Center in Minneapolis, branch office in Dubuque, IA, and at numerous customer sites throughout the U.S.
