- Proactively assist in sales/technical presentations or demonstrations of our grid edge sensor solution, position technical integration into field devices/communications and backend systems.
- Participate in deep dive technical assessments to support our utility customers in various advanced grid applications and projects.
- Work with product development and manufacturing teams to implement improvements based on failure analysis.
- Collaborate with Engineering & Product management team to communicate the results of site installations.
- Review project commissioning results to improve product design, manufacturing processes, and preventive procedures.
- Provide continual feedback to the engineering team on issues discovered to assist with continual improvement.
- Assist Engineering with product testing by setting up testing environments and executing testing. Internal testing center at the company.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Ability to perform effectively with high quality with little to no direct supervision.
- Being adept with MS Office tools such as Word and Excel is necessary.
- Good technical understanding of medium voltage distribution systems, industry standards, and communications architectures
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying the root causes of complex technical problems.
- Experience with writing detailed and informative technical reports.
- Proficient with computer applications.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Must be able to comfortably work with various cross-functional teams - Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Firmware, Testing, Offshore, etc.
- Must have the passion and aptitude for grasping/learning new concepts, technologies, and products.

Job Description
The Sales Engineer is a critically important member of the sales team responsible for participating in deep-level technical conversations about our grid edge product line supporting various utility grid applications and projects. In addition, you will be required to successfully troubleshoot field issues, make firmware upgrades, various hardware upgrades, GUI set up, site testing, functional testing, and field commissioning.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with distribution automation equipment, understanding industry landscape and how sensors can be used to drive efficiency and improvements. Knowledge of communications architecture and experience in setup/commissioning of communications devices is a plus.
