    Job Description

    The R&D Information Manager - Enterprise Data and Analytics will be responsible for performing enterprise data and analytics initiatives in Clinical Development. Individual will be responsible for implementing and extending data management, data engineering and analytical solutions, in Clinical Development. By understanding system requirements, business needs for internal organization in development area. The individual will participate in designing and delivering project tasks and enhancements for Clinical Development organization of Gilead.

    Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement systems and applications, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and optimize workflows for the acquisition and processing of clinical trial data, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Support clinical development users in the use of data management systems and tools, providing training and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address user needs and requirements, ensuring the development of user-friendly and efficient systems.
  • Monitor and analyze data management processes and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in clinical trial data management, incorporating best practices into workflows and processes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement working with the business and the various IT team.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to peers, colleagues, and other team members, ensuring the successful execution of data and analytics projects.
  • Acts as system manager and create/update, review system related documents including qualification/validation deliverables in primary business areas of focus.
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and advancements in relevant technology.

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, etc.). Advanced degree preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in clinical development, with a focus on data management and clinical trial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, data acquisition, and processing workflows.
  • Experience with data management systems and tools, such as Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for clinical trial data management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment and an ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Track record working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
  • Good Listener: be able to patiently listen to understand the business needs.

    Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Degree and Eleven Years Experience OR associate degree and Nine Years Experience OR Bachelor's Degree and Six Years Experience OR Master's Degree and Four Years Experience

    The salary range for this position is: $130, $168, Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
