Job Summary:

The Marketing Intern specializes in Social Media Management focusing on three key areas: Content Creation, Community Engagement, and Community Management. Role reports to the SVP, Marketing, and assists the Company's Marketing department. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about social media, has a keen eye for detail, is self-motivated, and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The team member will perform clerical, analytical, and administrative duties and must have a strong creative bend, and a passion for on and offline customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Successfully utilizes various marketing functions (i.e., community proposals, presentations, brochures, photography session coordination, various websites, social media, online reviews, videos, etc.).
• Develops, creates and tracks community engagement events for all Inspire communities and publishes posts using social media management tools.
• Develops and executes dynamic marketing campaigns for the Company's community portfolio, as well as internal clients, products, services, and content.
• Coordinates the creation of marketing content as needed (i.e., emails, blog posts, graphics, videos, offline collateral, etc.), with an emphasis on event and membership marketing content.
• Uses creative software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to create flyers and social posts to create better engagement with consumers and support Field team.
• Possesses a strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences. Monitors day-to-day activity of the Company's social media channels used and company websites, and reports on social media trends, audience insights and campaign performance.
• Supports the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness and grows our online community engagement while executing social media campaigns, contests and giveaways.
• Creates graphics, videos, written content, and print collateral that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
• Evaluates and assists each assigned community in creating, setting up, and/or building liaisons with unique marketing avenues based on hot points of customer base.
• Works with the community staff to seek out big box employers, community outreach programs, sports leagues, etc. and develop creative marketing where applicable.
• Performs and/or assumes other tasks as directed by any person authorized to give such instructions or assignments.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as applications related to the specific position such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills with the skillful and defined ability for understanding technology and Company-specific systems.
• Must be a team player able to work independently with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Superior written and oral communication skills to clearly express ideas, information, and/or concerns with the ability to influence, motivate, and provide feedback.
• The consistent ability to be resilient and adaptive during fast-paced, sometimes high-stress changes in priorities, situation, direction, and/or when speaking with difficult customers.
• Must be able to multi-task and have a high degree of self-control to maintain a composed, problem-solving approach when faced with controversial issues and/or pressing time demands.

Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications of related field.
• Two to five years' minimum of previous professional work experience in a similar role or a related field is highly preferred.
• One plus year of related experience and/or training in the manufactured housing industry is a strong advantage.

Physical Requirements, with/without Reasonable Accommodations:

• Prolonged periods of sitting, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, (including using tools or controls customary to the position), standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching or lifting with hands and arms. Must be able to hear clearly (with or without the use of a hearing aid) and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus (with or without the use of glasses or contact lenses).
