    Your Impact:
    As a Senior Buyer you are responsible for ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of our products by leading specific sourcing strategies, cost reduction and

    supply.


    The Essential Functions:
    Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
    Develops effective sourcing strategy for assigned items that reduce cost, secure supply, and minimize supply chain disruptions
    Assesses current material availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables.
    Identifies trends in markets that will affect availability, quality, and cost of raw materials.


    Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, production, and stockroom, to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.

    Works with accounting to maintain accurate costing, analyze and correct errors related to purchase orders, billing, costing
    Analyzes inventory-related data and generate reports to provide insights on inventory performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
    Develop strong relationships with suppliers in addition to, evaluating and reporting

    on supplier performance.
    Researches potential new sources of supply for current stocked items and provide options of supply for new items.
    Other tasks assigned by management.
    Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies.


    What you will need:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement,
    or a related field.


    • Proven experience (4 years) in supply chain or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, methods, and best practices
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data set
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficient in using inventory management software and systems, preferably Oracle
    • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards related to inventory control is advantageous.
