    Celebrating 80 years in the aerospace industry, Dayton Granger Inc. (DG) designs and manufactures avionic products for a range of customers, including commercial airframe manufacturers, military program managers, and general aviation aircraft manufacturers.

    Your Impact as a Senior Buyer:
    - Sourcing, purchasing, and managing commodities for manufacturing processes at DG
    - Collaboration with suppliers, negotiation of pricing and terms, ensuring timely material delivery, and maintaining adequate inventory levels to support production schedules. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of electronic component procurement in a manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities:
    - Preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment
    - Developing effective sourcing strategies to reduce costs, secure supply, and minimize supply chain disruptions
    - Assessing current and future material availability based on market trends and variables
    - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely availability
    - Maintaining accurate costing, analyzing and correcting errors, analyzing inventory-related data, and creating reports for insights and improvements
    - Building strong supplier relationships, evaluating supplier performance, and researching new sources of supply
    - Adherence to all safety procedures as per company policies

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field (preferred)
    - 4 years of experience in supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing setting (preferably aerospace industry)
    - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, methods, and best practices
    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
    - Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
    - Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, preferably Oracle
