    General Liability Claim Examiner

    Property and Casualty Insurance Industry

    New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania - hiring for multiple locations

    Examine, adjust and defend, general liability claims and lawsuits filed against insureds towards an amicable resolution, where possible. This includes reviewing the terms, conditions and exclusions of the insurance policy to determine whether or not the claim presented is covered, conducting an investigation of the facts and circumstances of the claim presented, securing necessary medical and other documentation of alleged damages and negotiating settlements with claimants and attorneys. Review coverage under the policy of insurance that the claim or lawsuit was submitted under to determine whether or not coverage for the claim or lawsuit is in order.

    Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 2 years of experience handling premises liability claims is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 required. Experience with ImageRight and WINS a plus.
