Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our busy quick-service restaurant. We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today

Compensation:

$12 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities:

Ready food stations by washing, cutting, dicing, and chopping items needed for food prep
Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
Sweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shift
Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served
Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions

Qualifications:

Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired
Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations
Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
