    Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our busy quick-service restaurant. We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn.     Compensation:

    $12 - $16 hourly

    Responsibilities:
    • Ready food stations by washing, cutting, dicing, and chopping items needed for food prep
    • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
    • Sweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shift
    • Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served
    • Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions
    Qualifications:
    • Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired
    • Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
    • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
    • Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations
    • Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
