Are you someone who excels under pressure? If so, our bustling quick-service restaurant has an exciting opportunity for a cook like you. We are looking for individuals experienced in setting up food service areas, handling high volumes of food, and maintaining proper food storage conditions. A keen interest in learning and previous experience in the food industry are valuable assets for this role. We need someone who can thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate seamlessly with fellow crew members. If this sounds like you, we want you on our team!

Compensation:

$12 - $16 per hour

Responsibilities:

Cook food following provided instructions from food order slips or verbal cues
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and refrigeration units as per health and safety guidelines
Thoroughly clean equipment and work surfaces at the end of each shift, including tasks like sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing counters
Ensure the temperature of cooked food is safe for consumption by utilizing a thermometer
Adhere to quality standards for various food items, along with proper storage and waste disposal practices

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and colleagues
Compliance with safety and sanitation protocols related to kitchen equipment and food storage
Possess a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
Prior experience in fast food or quick service restaurant industry is a plus
