Our client, a curated marketplace for Gourmet Food & Food Gifts - connecting people with their greatest food memories, experiences and desires, is looking for a Social Media Strategist.
You will own the brand's social media calendar, manage all social media channels and manage all incoming social partnership inquiries and content calendar.
This is a full-time role (hybrid in office ~3 days / week).Salary range of $115-130kResponsibilities: Develop a comprehensive social media content strategy and calendar for key platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.
Manage day-to-day operations of social accounts and collaborate across teams to create engaging content and impactful copy that amplifies the Company's brand presence and boosts audience interaction.
Organize and oversee social media shoots in partnership with our creative and video teams, ensuring creativity and quality standards are met.
Collaborate closely with the design team to leverage brand campaigns and moments, strategically positioning the Company as an innovative leader in the industry.
Explore new storytelling opportunities on social media by collaborating with our merchant partners and chefs. Coordinate on-location shoots with restaurant partners to capture compelling content.Engage with followers, merchants, and the Company's community through conversations on the feed and in direct messages (DMs), fostering meaningful interactions.
Provide guidance to the Customer Experience team, offering best practices for addressing customer feedback and inquiries in comments and DMs.
Analyze social media performance and deliver actionable insights and reports to cross-functional teams to drive positive outcomes. Stay updated on social media trends, offering proactive recommendations to adapt strategies accordingly.Qualifications:
Over 5 years of experience managing large-scale social media accounts that are consistently active. Proficient understanding of social media platforms and their metrics, demonstrating how data can impact business strategies. Generate original, timely, and innovative stories that spark conversations on social media.
Demonstrate cultural awareness and a keen interest in staying updated with trends and topics relevant to the food and beverage industry, knowing when to capitalize on cultural moments.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Maintain high-quality work even under tight deadlines, while projecting an authentically friendly and positive demeanor. Effective and responsive communicator, adept at engaging with various stakeholders including customers, restaurant partners, influencers, and internal teams. Skilled in identifying current trends and cultural \"coolness,\" particularly within pop culture.Embody a \"no idea is too crazy\" approach as a social media expert, deeply immersed in the world of food and beverage.
