- Have at least 1 year of experience in a law office setting providing direct support to an attorney, and with experience in entering and tracking information, communicating with clients and proofing/editing documents.
- Have skills and confidence to assist with document preparation, formatting, and proofreading in Word and Adobe. Be highly capable of creating and maintaining minute books and corporate records.
- Be a self-starter who will use sound judgment to anticipate next steps, communicate with the other team members as needed, and shift priorities accordingly. Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workflow.
- Take ownership with high initiative and follow through on projects/assignments to completion.
- Be highly organized and able process and organize detailed information primarily in electronic form.
- Have excellent professional written and verbal communication skills, with acute attention to detail with strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
- Be tech savvy, up to date and highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro DC programs. Prior experience with a document management system (i.e. Worldox or Netdocs), Tabs3 and PracticeMaster a plus.
- Value continued education and training and continue striving for professional development. We invest in our employees and give them access to the tools they need to be successful.
- Be prepared to provide in-person support at the office. Once onboarded, this position is eligible for one remote day per week, based on the needs of the firm and clients.
- Be ready to work between hours per week, Monday-Friday. Exact start and end time negotiable, but will need to occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:30 pm.

Elevate Law Group is seeking a legal assistant to join our firm. The successful applicant will become part of a team providing coverage to three attorneys with practice areas in business formations, transactions, and acquisitions, real estate, IP and employment matters. The position will provide occasional support to other members of the firm in the practice areas of litigation, bankruptcy & debtor-creditor law.
We are looking for a quick and eager learner who is looking for a long-term position with a close-knit team. We need someone who appreciates and adheres to procedures, communicates well and works well in team environments, with a positive can-do attitude. A significant portion of the work in this position will flow through and be directed by the team paralegal and other legal assistants.
