    Excellent opportunity for a Production Supervisor, Molding, to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Wheeling, IL, just a short drive from Chicago


    Position Overview::


    The Production Supervisor, Molding, performs functions of department supervision and directs the daily activities of department employees to assure timely availability of high-quality products.

    This position will be responsible for managing the weekend shift of Operators.


    What you will do::

    Assure maximum utilization of resources to meet the scheduled due dates for product availability. Balance throughput by scheduling resources and equipment to ensure attainment of established production goals and objectives.

    Responsible for continual improvement of safety, quality and production processes while ensuring compliance with ISO/GMP/FDA and quality standards.


    Provide adequate training and close coaching for the department employees to establish product awareness and understanding, cGMP compliance and promote ISO 13485 quality standards.

    Implement safety programs to include training and awareness to eliminate lost time accidents and reduce OSHA recordable injuries.

    Provide effective leadership and coaching to members of department, including goal setting, performance feedback and salary administration.

    Alert management to any capacity constraints that have a potential to adversely affect the customer service levels.

    Assist in the development of annual operation budgets, provide updates and manage variances.

    Leadership Responsibilities

    Responsible for the management of all production employees in department.

    Constructively challenge, and actively participate in, management decision-making processes related to strategic and tactical business issues.

    Articulate vision/strategy to company leaders, peers and subordinates and gain commitment as well as influence behaviors to drive results.


    Skills for Success::

    AA/AS with 4 years or BA/BS with 2 years direct line supervisory experience in an industrial environment required.

    Knowledge of medical components, ISO/cGMP and FDA regulations, or equivalent on the job training required.

    Strong analytical ability.

    Must be able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
