Job Description

Manufacturing Group Leader Hours: 4/10 Shift either Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday, 6:30am-5pm

Responsibilities:

Maintaining inventory levels.
Sampling of in process and raw materials.
Running glass washer / autoclave.
Buffer / media preparation.
Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).
Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
Coordinate production schedule to ensure task completion on time.
Lead Upstream production team, holding team members accountable to schedule.
Escalate production deficiencies, areas for improvement, and personnel challenges to management.

Significant Work Activities -Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day),Work in a clean room environment

Qualifications

Qualifications:

BS (or equivalent experience), with 6+ years area specific relevant experience.
As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques.
Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
Makes recommendations for new procedures.
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Assists Supervisor in planning and leading area activities.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
