    Description

    Currently, StaffBright has a great Quality Engineer opportunity in the Rockford, IL area. We are seeking individuals with 2-5 years of quality experience in the automotive industry.

    *This position is not eligible for Sponsorship at this time*

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Manage customer/supplier root cause analysis and countermeasure efforts.
    • Conduct internal and external (supplier) audits per IATF 16949 standards.
    • Provide qualified suppliers with monthly supplier performance reports.
    • Document root cause and countermeasure actions in the 8D, Honda 5P, Why/Why Analysis format as requested by the customer.

    What We Need From You

    To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:

    • Strong Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventative action experience.
    • Experience conducting Internal and External Audits per ISO, TS, or IATF 16949 Standards.
    • Experience with PPAP Process.
    • The ability to read blueprints.
