- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or financial planning preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the financial services industry
- Series 65 or 66 is required. Series 7 and Life and Health licensing are preferred
- Ability to build rapport and with clients, and quickly gain their trust
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attitude and extraordinary desire to serve clients and team members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Detailed oriented with strong focus on the small but important facets of this industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage stress and multiple tasks in a demanding industry
- Possess enthusiastic spirit and positive outlook on life and this work
- CKA designation is preferred, but not required
- Assist with the Financial Planning and relationship management of the team's clients
- Take the lead in the data gathering and developing of client financial plans
- Maintain and monitor financial plans
- Handle various communications with clients via phone, email, and meetings
- Embrace the management of client data and its accuracy using CRM software
- Prepare and participate in client onboarding and review meetings
- Handle follow up activities as a result of meetings and calls with clients and prospects
- Embrace and thrive in an environment of collaboration and service to the team
- Experience in using CRM software such as Junxure, Redtail or Salesforce
- Experience in using Money Guide Pro financial planning software
- Stellar Microsoft Office skills
