    The Building Engineering Team assesses the structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in facilities with an emphasis on efficiency and quality.

    We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer/ Plumbing Designer to join our Building Engineering team


    Responsibilities:
    Prepare mechanical and/or plumbing and fire protection engineering reports, plans and specifications for building projects. Design and produce engineering documents and specifications based on calculations.
    Plan, schedule, conduct and/or coordinate engineering work.
    Interpret and revise engineering documents.
    Conceive, plan and conduct research.
    Select and size equipment for building systems.
    Participate in contract bidding and administration. Observe ongoing progress of a project.
    Assist in coordination of projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff. Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to project.
    Assist in resolving a variety of complex problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).


    Minimum Qualifications:


    Prefer a minimum of 6 years in engineering design of mechanical and/or plumbing and fire protection systems for building projects.

    Demonstrated knowledge using Revit.
    Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, practices and techniques.
    Knowledge of codes and regulations.
    Skilled with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
    Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Strong team player
    Must have a strong attention to detail.
    Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
    Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
    Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
