    District Accounting Manager - San Antonio, TX

    Job SummaryThis is a great opportunity to join a great company with Canteen. As the District Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for all accounting and I-vend activity within the district branch.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Handle the day-to-day HR issues including but not limited to managing payroll and benefit administration, training, FMLA/Workman's Comp issues and regulatory compliance staffingManages cash room and coordinates banking/armored car servicesManages A/R and A/P processesAssists in the production of weekly financial reportingLends financial perspective to business issues facing district operation, including cost-benefit analysisManages period close, ensure general ledger is accurately represented, and complete balance sheet reconciliationsAssists in analyzing financial statements for areas of profit improvement and recommend appropriate actions.

    Assists with forecast and budget modeling, evaluate what-if scenariosMaintains internal controls within district operationsInteract with internal and external auditorsProvide assistance with DOT related issues/schedulesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in business (Accounting, Finance, Management, etc.)Minimum of 2 years financial management experience preferredAbility to track and measure financial data and communicate information to multi-level managementWorking knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and SAPStaff accountant experience preferredEvening/weekend work during month-end closeApply to Canteen todayCanteen is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
