- Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Address any materials-related issues promptly to avoid disruptions.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor on-time delivery, report any foreseen issue, and contribute to improvements in delivery metrics.
- Able to help set and meet the KPI's for the group.
- Ability to adhere and meet Production scheduling demands.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field.
- 5+ years' experience in materials planning and purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to adhere and meet Production scheduling demands.
