    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a Supply Planning Coordinator role to join our Pittsburgh Team Both positions are vacant due to internal promotions The Supply Planning Coordinator will be responsible for the timely coordination of activities associated with the order fulfillment cycle with a focus on outbound material management, terminal inventory reconciliation, and rail car tracking. In addition, this position will assist the Regional Production Planning team in the resolution of day-to-day issues which includes initiating contact as needed with Customers, Carriers, Customer Service and Operations to ensure efficient service and product fulfillment. This position will also be responsible for entering shipment data into the company ordering system and prepare reports as needed to support the business. This role will have rotating nights & weekend on-call responsibilities.     Responsibilities & Duties:
    • Serve as the primary Supply Chain point of contact for their assigned region
    • Process hand tickets for invoicing and file paperwork from scales
    • Organize roll over meeting with operations and production planning to communicate pertinent activities
    • Arrange alternate carriers as needed to cover unplanned shipments
    • Monitor critical loads across the network and resolve any delivery barriers
    • Communicate effectively with the Regional Production Planner and Production Manager to ensure all information, including barriers, is shared regularly.
    • Other duties as assigned by management
    Job Qualifications:
    • Qualified candidates will have an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments is preferred
    • Experience in inventory control, production scheduling, customer service is preferred
    • Familiarity with customer relations and operations personnel
    • Detail oriented with strong planning, organization and multi-tasking abilities
    • Resourceful problem solving and decision making skills
