    The per diem Transportation Services Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will work in conjunction with department leadership and collaboration with inter-departments served by the department on areas of patient flow.

    The Per Diem works on an as-needed basis, to cover 1st and 2nd shifts Mon - Friday, to cover absences.

    The Coordinator Per Diem will collaborate with in-scope department teams to assess their present and anticipated workloads. When applicable, will work with leadership, to measurably improve patient through-put in areas of scope.

    The Coordinator provides guidance and direction on Transportation workflows and Transporters on their assigned shift, is qualified to expertly perform all Transportation workflows and provides hands-on technical training and support for all Transportation staff.

    Performs at an advanced level, making complex judgments, assumes responsibility and accountability for patient through-put, work flows and staff efficiency.

    Effectively handles multiple CS-Link software and/or programs at the same time. May function as a member of department leadership as needed.
    Shifts needed for this role are between 7:15am

    1:15pm shift (6-hr shift)

    OR the 1:00pm

    9:30pm (8-hr shift).


    Educational requirements:** High School Diploma/GED


    License/Certification/Registration Requirements:** BLS card by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    One year experience in an acute hospital patient transport required; two years preferred.
