    We have an opportunity for a Director of Finance who will work with the CFO in support of corporate operations.

    This is a full-time role in McLean, Virginia at our HQ.

    Manage day-to-day financial operations and provide overall leadership for the Accounting and Finance teams.
    Serve as senior finance representative on the Executive Team and collaborate with Executive Team and CEO.
    Establish key financial metrics for Executive Team and develop/maintain reporting.
    Coordinate with Chief Finance Officer to establish budgets and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for performance vs. projections.
    Manage invoicing and A/R for all contracts/projects.
    Develop and oversee financial operations including cash management and payroll in compliance with U.Provide analysis for financial statements.

    Work directly with Chief Strategy Officer and CEO to structure company profitability targets (gross margin, net income, and EBITDA).

    Ensure adequate financing for operations by minimizing outstanding accounts, negotiating favorable payment terms, and maintaining adequate lines of credit with most favorable interest expenses.

    Support RFP process and selection of an external audit firm oversee activities with selected firm, and coordinate resources to meet audit team requirements.

    Develop internal controls and monitoring to mitigate intentional/unintentional loss.
    Engage with counterparts for prime/subcontractor teaming partners.
    Provide guidance and recommendations to implement effective tax strategies.
    Support company's growth strategy including identifying M&A opportunities and supporting due diligence.
    Respond to RFIs from CEO and Board of Directors, and support RFIs for external business and banking relationships.

    Current security clearance or eligibility to obtain a clearance.
    ~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; 10+ years of experience as a Direct of Finance, Corporate Controller or similar responsibility.
    ~ M&A experience preferred.

    Work is typically performed in an office setting.
    Must be able to read, write and speak English.
