    Description
    Overview

    To support NFCU's Annual Financial Plan, Quarterly and Monthly forecast processes by performing financial planning & analysis functions and delivering data driven insights across business units.

    Work under minimal supervision.
    Responsibilities
    Support the Business Unit Finance Point of Contacts regarding business functions, systems, policies and/or procedures
    Assist in supporting the production, and dissemination of monthly/quarterly/annual management information and analyses for Navy Federal leadership
    Prepare moderate to complex customized reports that influence senior department management decisions regarding prioritizing the organization's financial resources
    Prepare consolidated summaries of AFP, Quarterly Forecast and Monthly Updates
    Assist in preparing variance analyses, processing budget transfers, and responding to questions and analyses from business units
    Assist with compilation and maintenance of monthly financial briefs
    Identify opportunities and make recommendations for enhanced efficiencies and potential gaps and or problems related to current AFP/Quarterly/Monthly processes
    Assist with creating business requirements for the development of financial models for planning and forecasting
    Troubleshoot end user issues and coordinate issue resolution with senior team members
    Assist in development and maintenance of Standard Operating ProceduresPerform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree Finance or similar field and 3-4 years of applicable work experience
    Working knowledge of Oracle ERP Financial Applications - General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Project Costing, etc.
    Working knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis, and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling
    Effective verbal and written communication skills
    Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
    Experience working in a team environment under minimal supervision
    Desired Qualifications
    Experience in credit union financials and/or NCUA regulations
    Working knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectives

    Hours:
    Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
