    General DescriptionDuring the internship, you will learn the best practices of your Compass Group sector, Canteen, and facilitate these practices within areas which may include, but are not limited to marketing, customer service, retail, merchandising, branch operations and support services, finance, purchasing and supply chain, profit and loss, and more.

    Based on your location, you will be able to experience various operational areas such as:

    Markets & Office SnacksCoffee & RefreshmentsVendingDining The RequirementApplicants must be currently enrolled in a college or professional culinary program and provide appropriate documentation.

    Meet university's GPA requirement for Internship.
    Must be available to work hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements.
    Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a changing work environment. Possess a basic understanding of customer service and client relations.
    College credit is not required, but we will provide appropriate documentation if necessary. Job ResponsibilitiesCommunicating and following up on past due balances, accounts on hold with pending orders, and skips. Respond to customer inquiries- invoice copies, statements, etc. Work with Project Manager on new ACH system. Charge credit cards/apply checks to customer accounts. Prepare reports and reconciliations to be presented to management.
