    Description

    Our Client is a leading service provider of Digital and ASIC services to the technology and telecom industries. They work with some of the leading names in the world on cutting edge next generation chip design and verification services.

    They are looking for a stellar and highly motivated Director of Business Development to join our leadership team in the Bay Area to develop and grow their ASIC business within the Semiconductor/Hyperscaler ecosystem. This is a highly impactful and influential role with significant upside prospects for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be a A+ player with a Hunter mindset and should have sold into Semiconductor or Hyperscaler accounts with a focus n strategic customer relationship and opportunities.

    • 12 to 15 years of experience working with or selling into top tier1 semiconductor/Hyperscaler accounts. Should have sold at VP/GM levels.
    • Deep understanding of the ASIC/Chip market landscape, including emerging technologies, trends and competitors.
    • Experience working in newly emerging technologies such as AI/ML, 5G, graphics, cloud, ADAS, etc.
    • Experience working on turnkey and ODC opportunities for SOCs and embedded software.
    • Experience in creating new accounts and keeping relationship to grow current accounts.
    • Proven track record of success in driving new business development and achieving sales targets, particularly within the hyperscaler / Chip industry segment.
    • Established network of contacts within hyperscaler companies and ASIC/chip manufacturers.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Must be local to Silicon Valley
