    Accounts Payable Specialist | Columbus, OH

    Are you ready to bring your accounts payable expertise to the forefront of a leading architecture and design company in Columbus, Ohio? Our client is on the lookout for a motivated individual with a passion for accuracy and efficiency to join their dynamic team.     Responsibilities

    • Streamline the processing of invoices, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity.
    • Foster positive relationships with vendors, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies to uphold a reputation for reliability and professionalism.
    • Take charge of accounts payable transactions, meticulously verifying coding, obtaining approvals, and executing payments in a timely manner.
    • Support the accounting and finance department by preparing and submitting expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain meticulous records of accounts payable transactions, providing accurate and up-to-date data to support financial reporting and analysis.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function, driving efficiencies and enhancing productivity.

    Requirements

    • Preferably 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
    • Exhibit keen attention to detail in reviewing and processing invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
    • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with vendors, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills are a must, allowing for the identification of discrepancies and the contribution to insightful financial reporting and analysis.
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and MS Excel for data entry and analysis is highly desirable.
